CHAAMP is thrilled to have found Chelsea Murray who is a professional dog trainer who utilizes kind and humane training and is also a Malamute mom! CHAAMP has taken her online Introduction to Dog-Powered Sports and learned so much about equipment (canicross belts, harnesses, etc.) and training techniques using positive reinforcement. She is based in Georgia and serves the Atlanta and Metro-Atlanta Area.

Chelsea is one of the moderators of the private Facebook Group: Alaskan Malamute Training 

This dog training advice group is **FREE** and there are wonderful guides for pet parents. Simply ask to join the group. Talk with other Malamute lovers about training and general questions. We highly recommend you join this group.

Pawsitive Futures (Alaskan Malamute Trainer) 

Chelsea is also owner of Pawsitive Futures stays up to date on the best training methods. She is a graduate of the Karen Pryor Academy and committed to being a lifetime student.

 

Chelsea competes with her Malamutes in Obedience, Rally Obedience, Trick Dog Titles, Fast Cat, Conformation Showing, Weight Pull, and Nose Work with her Malamutes. She is also an active member of her local Dog Mushing community. She trains in canicross, bikejoring, and skijoring. During the spring and summer months, she enjoys paddle boarding, canoeing, hiking, and camping with her Malamutes. She is AMAZING!

 

Chelsea offers private consulting (1 hour includes a follow-up email, training plan, handouts, and videos), and online classes. She also has Facebook LIVE events with trainers discussing various topics from behavior to dog sports, woo! We highly recommend following Pawsitive Futures on Facebook and Instagram.
